Komondors have a high exercise requirement and need plenty of space to run and play, which means they may not be well-suited for apartment living. They are also known to be escape artists and require a secure fence to keep them contained. They have a moderate level of separation anxiety, so they may not do well if left alone for long periods of time.

Komondors are fiercely loyal and protective of their families, which makes them excellent guard dogs. They are known to be independent and strong-willed, so they require a firm and experienced hand in training. However, with proper socialization and training, they can make extremely loving family pets. Their unique coat usually comes in white, but can sometimes have cream or buff shading.
