5- The Bedlington Terrier

The Bedlington Terrier is a small and unique English dog breed that is recognizable for its lamb-like appearance with a touch of poodle. They were originally bred in Bedlington, England, for hunting rodents in industrial settings. Bedlington Terriers have a curly coat that makes them resemble sheep, but they don’t shed much, which is an advantage for many owners.

This breed is intelligent and less rowdy than many of the other terrier breeds, making them a suitable companion. However, they have a stubborn terrier streak that can make them tricky to train. Bedlington Terriers are best suited for active families with large homes and gardens since they are quite vocal and may not be suitable for apartment living.

Bedlington Terriers are a small breed, standing between 15 and 18 inches tall and weighing between 17 and 23 pounds on average. They have a lifespan of 11 to 16 years. Moderate exercise needs and moderate separation anxiety are two other features of this breed. Their coat requires daily grooming to maintain their health.
